Foaling Program

Recognizing the fundamental delicacy of this process for all stables that produce thoroughbred racehorses, at H.C.P. we rely on two delivery rooms. The walls are padded and the floor is thickly covered with hay, which offers comfort to the mare and protects the foal from harm.

Each delivery room is meticulously washed and disinfected before each birth, a preventive measure against contagious diseases to the foal.

Our personnel supervises each delivery in order to provide the best attention possible to the mare.

Each foal is subjected to recommended exams to determine its state of health and to verify its colostrum intake.
